I've lived that moment. More than once.

My name is Becky Abraham. I grew up in the Chicagoland area and landed in Southwest Florida, where I've spent the last 8+ years doing the work I love most — helping nonprofits raise money, tell their story, and build something that lasts.

I've been the only development staff person in a small shop. I've managed six-figure portfolios, planned galas, built donor programs from scratch, and coached boards who had no idea fundraising was part of their job. I've done the work at every level — and I've loved almost every minute of it.

But I kept noticing the same thing everywhere I went.

The organizations that needed the most help had the least access to it. Small nonprofits — the scrappy, passionate, community-rooted ones doing some of the most important work in the world — were being left to figure it out alone.

That's why I built Rise & Impact.

Not to be another consulting firm. But to be the partner I wish every small nonprofit had — strategic, accessible, genuinely invested, and ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work.

When I'm not doing this work I love, you'll find me planning my next Disney trip, singing showtunes at full volume, or somewhere on a Florida beach pretending I have nowhere to be.
